The charrette process allowed the community to express views on the proposed Crail North development. It was felt that the development must be an integral part of Crail offering a range of housing to meet the needs of local people, particularly those at either end of the spectrum............young and elderly. Good walking links into the centre of Crail were seen as vital and there was concern that the style of housing should sit well in the Crail environment.

Our aim is to do all we can to ensure that the views of the community are heard so we will seek to engage with the planning authority and the landowner to achieve this. Under new planning legislation we will look to develop a Masterplan Consent Area for Crail that will establish development criteria for the town.
